Story Swap An informal story swap is held the 4th Sunday of the month, at 2:00 p.m., at Stapeley in Germantown, 6300 Greene Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144. We meet in the Parlor, and the attendees range from experienced storytellers to people who think they are only story listeners. Coaching Group We meet the third Sunday of the month, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. The group meets in the homes of the members, with the location changing for each meeting. The purpose of the coaching group is to offer positive feedback on developing new stories. The size of the coaching group is limited: twelve to fifteen members. Auditions For Tellebration 2010 Tellebration 2010 in Philadelphia is open to all Philadelphia storytellers. If you are interested in telling, come the audition at Falls of Schuylkill Library, 3501 Midvale Avenue, in East Falls. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 21, from 6 to 7:30 PM.

Tellebration 2010 in Philadelphia On Saturday, November 20, storytellers all across the country will be celebrating Tellebration 2010. In Philadelphia, the stories will focus on The Wise and The Foolish. The event will be held at 2:00 PM in the parish hall of the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Willow Grove at St. Martin's Lane, in Chestnut Hill. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Storytelling Workshop Ray Gray and Dennis Strain are developing a storytelling workshop for adults. The 90 minute workshop will explore four different storytelling traditions.
